Website analytics

Open /analytics/website. These reports describe public tenant-site activity, not visits to the marketing site or the administration dashboard.

KPI cards

• Pageviews: the number of public-site pageview events in the selected range.
• Unique visitors: distinct visitor identifiers in the selected range.
• Visitors now: distinct people active during the last five minutes.
• Views (30 min): public-site pageviews recorded during the last 30 minutes.

Pageviews and unique visitors include a comparison with the immediately preceding period of equal length. The live cards always use their fixed five-minute and thirty-minute windows, regardless of the selected range.

Traffic and activity

The traffic chart plots pageviews and visitors by day, or by month for 12m. Missing buckets are filled with zero so quiet days remain visible. The activity-by-hour card is a weekday-and-hour punchcard of public pageviews.

Geography and acquisition

• Visitors worldwide plots countries associated with public pageviews.
• Top countries lists the leading countries and their share of the reported geographic total.
• Top referrers groups visits by referrer domain. Direct traffic is shown as (direct) when no referrer domain is available.

Geography depends on the location information available to the analytics provider. Unknown location values are not evidence that a visitor is from a particular country.

Content and devices

• Top pages lists the ten public paths with the most pageviews.
• Exit pages lists the ten public paths associated with page-leave events.
• Devices groups pageviews by the reported device type and includes percentages.

Paths are public URL paths. Use them to decide which pages need clearer navigation, more prominent calls to action, or updated content.

Pageview quota

The Pageview quota card reads the current pageview meter from the Usage service for the current billing period. It is not limited to the selected analytics range. This is why a 7-day report and a billing-period quota can show different numbers.

If the quota card is empty, the Usage request may have failed or the organization may not have a readable pageview limit. The traffic charts can still contain data.
