Page Builder settings

The settings page is available at /pagebuilder/settings. It is intended for organization members with Page Builder access. The individual cards and their save actions are independent, so save one setting and verify it before moving to the next.

Domains

The page shows the standard organization domain and, when configured, the custom domain. To add or verify a custom domain:

1. Open Page Builder → Settings.
2. Enter the custom domain in the domain card.
3. Add the DNS records shown for your organization at your domain provider.
4. Return to moschee.io and wait for verification.
5. Open the verified domain and test the homepage, an internal page, navigation, and a not-found URL.

DNS values and verification time depend on the domain provider. Do not copy records from another organization. The standard domain remains available while a custom domain is pending.

Favicon

Use the favicon control to select or remove the icon used by the public website. After saving, open the public site in a private browser window or refresh the browser cache before judging the result. Keep a square, legible icon because browser tabs may display it at a very small size.

Google Maps

The Google Maps card stores an organization API key for the Google Maps block:

1. Create or select a key in Google Cloud with the required Maps product enabled.
2. Open Page Builder → Settings.
3. Paste the key into the password-style field.
4. Save it.
5. Add or preview a Google Maps block on a page.

The page displays a configuration warning when the key is missing. Keep the key restricted in Google Cloud and never paste it into page content or screenshots.

Maintenance mode

Maintenance mode prevents normal public visitors from viewing the site while you prepare changes. The settings card provides:

• A switch to enable or disable maintenance mode.
• A generated password for authorized visitors.
• A copy action for the current password.
• A regenerate action that creates a new password.

Share the password only with people who need to review the site. Test both the maintenance screen and the unlock flow. Disable maintenance mode when publishing is complete.

Custom code

The custom-code card has two fields:

• Head code, inserted in the document head.
• Body code, inserted in the document body.

Paste only code that your team has reviewed. Custom code can change the behavior or appearance of every public page. Save after editing, then test the public site on desktop and mobile. If a page becomes unusable, remove the recently added code and save again.

Save and troubleshooting

• A successful save produces a confirmation message.
• A failed save leaves the previous value in place and shows an error.
• A missing organization or insufficient role can prevent the page from being available.
• A missing Maps key affects only the Maps block, not the rest of the website.
• A custom domain may remain pending until DNS verification completes.
