SEO and social previews
Set page metadata and check the SEO fields used by your public mosque website.
SEO fields are edited per page in the Page Builder editor at /pagebuilder/edit/[id]. The SEO panel is part of the page sidebar; it is not a separate dashboard route.
Fields to complete
Set the following values for each important public page:
- SEO title: the page title used in search and browser contexts.
- SEO description: a concise summary of the page.
- SEO keywords: optional; the interface treats this field as recommended rather than required.
- Social image: the image used when the page is shared. If none is set, the website may use its default image.
The ordinary page title and description are separate page metadata. Keep them consistent with the SEO title and description, but write for visitors rather than repeating a keyword list.
SEO checklist
The editor displays a checklist and score:
- A title is considered complete when it is not empty. The interface marks titles below 30 characters or above 60 characters as a warning.
- A description is considered complete when it is not empty. The interface marks descriptions below 120 characters or above 160 characters as a warning.
- Keywords are optional in the checklist.
- A social image is complete when one is defined; otherwise the default image is reported.
The score is a completeness indicator, not a ranking guarantee. A score of 100% does not guarantee a search position, rich result, or social-network preview.
Workflow
- Open /pagebuilder.
- Create a page or select an existing page.
- Open the page editor.
- Enter the page title and description.
- Open the SEO area in the sidebar.
- Add the SEO title, description, optional keywords, and social image.
- Review the checklist warnings.
- Save the page.
- Use preview before publishing.
- Open the public URL and inspect the visible page content.
After publishing, social networks and search engines may cache metadata. Use the public page URL and the relevant platform’s preview tools when a cached preview does not change immediately.
Good metadata
Describe the actual page and the mosque’s location or purpose when relevant. Avoid:
- Empty titles or descriptions.
- Repeating the same title on every page.
- Keyword lists written for machines instead of visitors.
- Images with no meaningful subject or very small text.
- Personal data in social images.
SEO metadata is only one part of discoverability. Public navigation, useful page content, correct links, and a verified domain also matter.
