Mawaqit integration

If your mosque already uses Mawaqit, you can sync prayer times automatically with moschee.io.

What is Mawaqit?

Mawaqit is a popular system for managing mosque prayer times. With this integration you can:

  • Use your existing Mawaqit data
  • Avoid double data entry
  • Enable automatic syncing

Prerequisites

  • Your mosque is registered on Mawaqit
  • Prayer times feature enabled on moschee.io

Connect Mawaqit

Find your mosque

  1. Go to Prayer times > Settings.
  2. Choose Mawaqit import.
  3. Search for your mosque by name or city.
  1. Select your mosque from the results.
  2. Review the preview of prayer times.
  3. Click Link.

Start syncing

The first sync starts automatically:

  • Prayer times are imported
  • Iqama times are pulled
  • Jumu'ah times are synced

Sync settings

Automatic sync

By default moschee.io syncs daily:

  • Time: Overnight (02:00)
  • Scope: All prayer times
  • Range: Current month + next month

Manual sync

You can trigger a sync at any time:

  1. Go to Prayer times > Settings
  2. Click Sync now
  3. Data is refreshed

What is synced?

DataSynced
Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha
Iqama times
Jumu'ah times
Sunrise
Ramadan times

Local overrides

If you need to adjust individual times:

  1. Open the prayer times calendar
  2. Select the day
  3. Edit the time
  4. Enable Local override

Local overrides are kept and not overwritten on the next sync.

Disconnect

To stop the Mawaqit connection:

  1. Go to Prayer times > Settings
  2. Click Disconnect Mawaqit
  3. Existing data remains
  4. No further syncs occur
