Mawaqit integration
If your mosque already uses Mawaqit, you can sync prayer times automatically with moschee.io.
What is Mawaqit?
Mawaqit is a popular system for managing mosque prayer times. With this integration you can:
- Use your existing Mawaqit data
- Avoid double data entry
- Enable automatic syncing
Prerequisites
- Your mosque is registered on Mawaqit
- Prayer times feature enabled on moschee.io
Connect Mawaqit
Find your mosque
- Go to Prayer times > Settings.
- Choose Mawaqit import.
- Search for your mosque by name or city.
Confirm the link
- Select your mosque from the results.
- Review the preview of prayer times.
- Click Link.
Start syncing
The first sync starts automatically:
- Prayer times are imported
- Iqama times are pulled
- Jumu'ah times are synced
Sync settings
Automatic sync
By default moschee.io syncs daily:
- Time: Overnight (02:00)
- Scope: All prayer times
- Range: Current month + next month
Manual sync
You can trigger a sync at any time:
- Go to Prayer times > Settings
- Click Sync now
- Data is refreshed
What is synced?

Local overrides
If you need to adjust individual times:
- Open the prayer times calendar
- Select the day
- Edit the time
- Enable Local override
Local overrides are kept and not overwritten on the next sync.
Disconnect
To stop the Mawaqit connection:
- Go to Prayer times > Settings
- Click Disconnect Mawaqit
- Existing data remains
- No further syncs occur
